Jeff Kanter, CFA
Principal
Jeffrey Kanter is the Founder and Portfolio Manager at Randonée Investment Works. He has extensive experience in research, analysis, risk and portfolio management given 20+ years on the buy and sell-side. Prior to founding Randonée, Jeff was a portfolio manager at UBS O’Connor and Soros Fund Management where he managed the Consumer Staples sleeves for those respective firms. He began his career as a research analyst at Salomon Brothers in 1997 before becoming a senior analyst at Prudential Securities.
Greg Grinberg, CPA

Mr. Grinberg has over twenty-five (25) years of experience in Fund Accounting and Taxation; and has been a CFO of multiple funds over the course of twenty (20) years. He has been involved in every accounting aspect of alternative investments, including public accounting with KPMG and Fund Administration services with Donaldson Lufkin and Jenrette. Mr. Grinberg has shown a proficient history in maximizing after-tax returns for fund investors. In addition, he has acted as a Chief Compliance Officer for various funds with expertise in SEC registration, and The Investment Company Act of 1940.
Matthew Schrage

Mr. Schrage has eight (8) years of experience in investment research and analysis. Prior to Randonée Investment Works, Matt served as an analyst at Intrinsic Edge Capital Management where he focused on consumer discretionary equities. Prior to that, he worked at 1060 Capital Management and at UBS O’Connor as an analyst. He graduated from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University with a BS in Finance.

THE RANDONÉE STORY
Randonée (pronounced Rand-o-Nay) is French for 'hike.' It is also used to describe multi-day cycling or cross-country skiing events. I, Jeff Kanter, went on a cycling Randonée in stunning Girona Catalonia a few years ago and it was a beautiful experience. Cycling on the Spanish-French border steps away from the Mediterranean was simply amazing, one that I would do again in a heartbeat. It's a stunning part of the world. When thinking about launching my fund, my wife suggested Randonée as a name. I loved it from the beginning. I wish I could take credit for it.
As for the rest of the name, 'Works,' developed out of an appreciation of people putting an idea into motion and going after it. What they create does not have to be fancy or expensive. It just has to ooze quality, integrity and authenticity. That is how 'Works' came to be.
Building something with passion, humility, and hard work has always been something I admire and respect. Treating others honestly and respectfully were instilled in my character years ago. None of those qualities can be taught in a classroom. I want Randonée Investment Works to be reflective of these values in everything we touch.
